To address the expensive conventional techniques for microalga harvesting, microalgal bacterial flocs (MaB-flocs) were developed via bioflocculation. The technical potential of MaB-flocs to treat aquaculture wastewater in an outdoor open pond and to be used for biogas and shrimp feed production will be presented. Needs for further research will be proposed
