Adhesive point-fixings are being used more frequently because of their numerous advantages compared to traditional bolted connections, such as a better load introduction, the absence of holes drilled in the glass, and increased thermal performances. With this research a first attempt is made to investigate the strength of an adhesive connection under uniaxial load. Since the stress distributions in the glass and the adhesive depend on several parameters, such as the diameter of the connection, the type of adhesive, etc. the influence of the latter is experimentally investigated
