Being sufficiently physically active and limiting sedentary behavior is associated with numerous health benefits for children and adolescents. Despite these health benefits, many children and adolescents do not reach the health recommendations of engaging daily in 60 minutes of moderate- to-vigorous-intensity physical activity and spend too much time being sedentary.
