Thermal loads that affect material have been calculated based on three-dimensional numerical models and the evolution of the torque experimentally measured in dry drilling of Ti6Al4V. Results of the numerical model have been compared with temperature values reached in the material at 1 mm from drill wall that was obtained experimentally.
