Cette thèse concerne la détermination de la température moyenne le long d’un chemin optique employé pour une mesure de distance de 1 à 20 m. L’estimation de la température est indispensable pour calculer l’indice de réfraction de l’air à l’aide de formules bien établies. La méthode employée dans la présente étude est la thermométrie acoustique. Les travaux s’inscrivent dans un cadre de métrologie de grands volumes et font partie d’un projet collaboratif européen (LaVA) financé le programme EMPIR (European Metrology Program for Innovation and Research).
