Pengaruh Kelas Ibu Hamil Terhadap Upaya Pencegahan Stunting: Sebuah Studi Literatur

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems that is still a challenge in Indonesia. Until now, the percentage of stunted babies is still high so it needs to be reduced, the reduction in the number of stunted babies can be prevented as early as possible. One way to prevent stunting is through pregnant women's classes as a means of delivering education and information about stunting to pregnant women. The purpose of this secondary research is to determine the effect of pregnant women's classes on stunting prevention. The method used in this secondary research is literature review, namely by reviewing relevant information on a topic, articles obtained using databases from accredited sites such as Cosreff, Garuda, Google Scholar and DOAJ. The results of the secondary research show that the pregnant women's class has an effect as a forum for channeling information and education to pregnant women regarding stunting prevention efforts. In addition, there are also supporting factors for the implementation of maternity classes, namely from the facilitator who is a professional, namely a midwife and also the enthusiasm of the mothers when attending maternity classes while the inhibiting factor for the implementation of maternity classes is that the cadres who assist pregnant women's classes have not received training on assisting pregnant women's classes. Pregnant women are expected to know that maternity classes have an influence on stunting prevention based on the explanations that have been presented in this literature review, so that pregnant women can follow a series of maternity classes and apply them in their daily lives
