In the challenges of energy transition and reducing consumption, buildings play a key role, as recognized by the European Council itself. Worldwide, the energy consumed in buildings represents a significant part of global energy consumption. Considering electrical energy alone, about 50% is consumed in residential or tertiary buildings.In France, this share is even higher. The residential sector accounts for 37% of consumption, while electricity consumption in tertiary buildings accounts for 32% of the total.
