Bioactive fibrous materials are included on functional textiles with grown interest on medical, well-being, protection and hygienic applications. These products combine the performance of textile matrix with the activity of the compound incorporated. In present study, cotton was modified by reaction of monochlorotiazinyl β-cyclodextrin (CD) using impregnation and fixation processes. The optimum results in terms of CD fixation were obtained by impregnation of fabric with an aqueous solution of CD at pH5 (100gL-1), wet-pick up (80%) and thermo fixing at 210ºC during 1 minute.
