The use of these materials has been increasing, especially in the automotive industry, due to their excellent specific mechanical properties (stiffness, strength and impact resistance), corrosion resistance and design flexibility. A highly efficient manufacturing process to fabricate LFT composites is injection molding. It has the advantages of a short production cycle, yielding excellent surfaces, and ease of molding complex shapes.
