Economic recessions, rationalisation of work, the globalisation and technological advancements have forced today’s organisations to respond more quickly in order to survive with tougher competition. This has generally increased the experience of job insecurity for the employees. The over-all aim of the current study was therefore to further explore the effects of different features on job insecurity and its effect on performance as well as the moderating role of different social supports.
