Introduction: Simulation is a teaching method used to train and assess the learning of medical professionals. The aim was to estimate its contribution in the evaluation of initial training (IT) and continuing training (CT), through the ability of paramedical students (PMS) and paramedical professionals (PMP) to detect errors placed in an error room (ER) and their satisfaction with the latter. Material and method: evaluative study comparing the ability to detect 20 errors related to standard precautions (SP) in hospital hygiene (HH) placed in the ER between 300 PMS and 156 PMP of Batna university hospital.
