Alyssum xanthocarpum Boiss. in Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. ser. 2, 17: 154. 1842. Type: “[Aucher-Eloy] N. 263 Akdag; 4098 A. Erzeroum”. Lectotypus (first step designated by DUDLEY, 1965b: 383; second step designated here): TURKEY: “Ak Dag”, s.d., Aucher-Eloy 263 (G-BOIS [G00332393]; isolecto-: BM, K [K000484939]). Syntypus: TURKEY: “Tokas Erzeroum”, s.d., Aucher-Eloy 4098 A (BM [BM000582925], G - BOIS [G 0 0 3 3 2 3 9 4], K [K 0 0 0 4 8 4 9 4 0], KW [KW000127919], P [P02272301]). Note. – In his lectotypification of the species name, DUDLEY (1965b) selected Aucher-Eloy 263 and listed BM, G, and K where the collection is housed but did not designate any of these three as the lectotype.
