(en) This chapter describes and comments on the collaborative experience gained in the theoretical-practical sessions of a program that connected the Public Libraries of Mexico City (CDMX) and the Daniel Cosío Villegas Library of El Colegio de México. These sessions were named "Network work: taking advantage of technological resources to socialize experiences" and "Wikipedia for you, your library, and your community". Both sought to strengthen the knowledge and skills of library workers through the understanding and familiarization with the Wikimedia Foundation's (WMF) mission.
