Study of the State of Food Security during the russian Aggression (Дослідження стану продовольчої безпеки під час російської агресії)

The main goal of this study was to assess the parameters of food security of the civilian population that experienced the war in the first days of the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine on February 24, 2022. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in March and April 2022 using the Google Forms tool among adult residents of different regions of Ukraine. All data was collected anonymously, respondents answered the questions independently. The results of the study revealed deep problems with food security (namely, hidden hunger), which lead to a sharp change in eating behavior and, as a result, a high probability of the possible development of eating disorders in the civilian population of Ukraine, which is experiencing the military aggression of the Russian Federation. The combination of these factors increases the negative consequences for the human body both physically and psychologically. Основною метою цього дослідження було оцінити параметри продовольчої безпеки цивільного населення яке зазнало війну в перші дні вторгнення РФ в Україну 24.02.2022. Це описове перехресне дослідження, проведене у березні та квітні 2022 року з використанням інструменту «Гугл-формс» серед повнолітніх мешканців різних областей України. Всі дані було зібрано анонімно, респонденти відповідали на питання самостійно. Результати дослідження виявили глибокі проблеми з продовольчою безпекою (а саме прихований голод), що призводять до різкої зміни харчової поведінки і, як наслідок, наявності високої ймовірності можливого розвитку розладів харчової поведінки у цивільного населення України, що переживає військову агресію РФ. Сукупність цих факторів, посилюють негативні наслідки для людського організму і в фізичному і в психологічному плані
