STUDY ON METACOGNITIVE AWARENESS LEVEL AMONG IN-SERVICE TEACHERS

Equipping individuals with metacognitive learning has become of utter importance in the 21st century, nowadays schools have ignored the vital importance of metacognitive in teaching. Hence, developing metacognitive personal has become a key factor in the upskilling of independent learners. A person's thought process, his actions and talking a stand works on judgement based on reasons The complex process and time involved in solving the problems that teachers go through shows us how essential metacognition is in terms of improved regulation of cognition. The present study focuses on understanding the level of Metacognitive awareness among in-service teachers based on their Highest Educational Qualification. The results revealed that educational qualification of teachers did not affect their metacognitive awareness
