Himalaphantes gyratus Irfan & Zhang & Peng 2022, sp. nov.

Himalaphantes gyratus sp. nov. (ṆḆẲĦƦ) Figures 140, 141, 146 Types. Holotype ♀, CHINA, Yunnan, Gongshan County, 77 km of new road to Donglongjiang, 27.91034ºN, 98.41081ºE, alt. 2183m, 8–9 November 2004, Guo Tang leg. (Tang–04–09). Paratypes: 6♀, same data as holotype (Tang–04–09). Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ gyratus ”, meaning “round”, referring to the round scape in the epigyne. Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from all other congeners by the distinct kidney-shaped lateral lobes of scape, stretcher head almost round and the spermathecae C-shaped (Fig. 140A–C). Description: Female (holotype, Fig. 141A, B): Total length: 3.79; carapace 1.63 long, 1.23 wide, yellowish brown; cephalic region slightly elevated, with a longitudinal brown band, lateral sides brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.33 high. Sternum longer than wide, brown. Labium wider than long, brown. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae brown, with three promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eye region narrow, AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.11, ALE 0.13, PME 0.13, PLE 0.15, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE, 0.04, PME–PME 0.06, PME–PLE 0.05, AME–PME, 0.14, ALE–ALE 0.53, PLE–PLE 0.56, ALE–PLE 0.01. Legs with annuli; length of legs: I 10.26 (2.75, 3.29, 2.77, 1.45), II 8.19 (2.31, 2.48, 2.19, 1.21), III 5.66 (1.84, 1.37, 1.54, 0.91), IV 7.83 (2.14, 2.28, 2.08, 1.06); leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.79 and Tm IV 0.53. Tibial dorsal spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 2.38 long, 1.41 wide, oval, yellow, proximal end with a longitudinal band followed by irregular greenish-grey patches extending posteriorly; ventral side yellow, with irregular greenishgrey and white patches. Epigyne (Fig. 140A–C): Scape wider than long, a with kidney-shaped lateral lobe one each side; stretcher head almost round. Copulatory openings present in lateral pockets. Entrance grooves sinuous. Posterior median plate trapezoid. Spermathecae relatively large, C-shaped. Male. Unknown. Distribution.
