Remotely sensed Chl-a (ESACCI-OC), Wind Vectors (ERA5), Bathymetry (NIWA), Munida Transect, and Mooring Data

These .mat files include: ESACCI_daily.mat - daily Chl-a from version 5.0 of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Ocean Colour Climate Change Initiative (OC-CCI+) (retrieved from https://www.oceancolour.org/thredds/catalog-cci.html?dataset=CCI_ALL-v5.0-1km-DAILY). ERA5d.mat - daily 10m u and v wind vectors from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts’ fifth generation re-analysis product (retrieved from https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/dataset/reanalysis-era5-single-levels). BATH.mat - regridded (to lat/lon) bathymetry from National Institute for Water and Atmospheric Research’s (NIWA) 2016 New Zealand Regional model (retrieved from https://data-niwa.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/nz-bathymetry-250m-imagery-raster-layer/explore) MUNIDA_chlor.mat - Munida Transect station data MUNIDA_underway.mat - Munida Transect thermosalinograph traces from available cruises deployment2021_raw.mat - Raw temperature, pressure, data for each mooring from a deployment over the 2021 austral summer. Only data from "outer" is used. All remotely sensed data is cropped to correspond to the Otago Shelf Break region. Also included are two .m files, "make5Day.m" and "median5DayAnom.m", which were used to take daily fields and generate 5-day composites and median anomalies.
