PROBLEMS IN ENGINEERING COLLEGES – AN OVERVIEW

India has been the heart of learning in the world since ages. It has everything that is needed to make it the number one country in the field of education i.e. brains, manpower, infrastructure and vision. Then what is it that inspite of having everything that is needed in our country itself, every year hordes of students are leaving our country for education in other countries? There are several problems, which make a difference in the way our engineering institutes are functioning as compared to world’s leading educational institutes. An overview of several such problems and a possible solution is highly necessary. An attempt is made to discuss some of these problems in this paper
