Fashion Design under the Conditions of Digital Transformations in Culture

The purpose of the article is to analyse the implementation mechanisms for fashion design stabilising potential in the course of transformational processes of culture in digitalisation. The article is devoted to solving the topical issue of managing the sustainable development of fashion design under destabilising factors. We have selected a group of informatisation disruptive influence factors on a fashion design development from the set of analysis factors. Research methodology. To achieve the target purpose, an interdisciplinary system analysis was used with a combination of results of historiographic, comparative, functional and content analysis. Scientific novelty. For the first time, a methodology for humanising users’ cultural landmarks employing fashion design was proposed. It was shown that the implementation of each innovative fashion project could be considered from the standpoint of the triangle model of factors influencing the design results. From these positions, project management relies on the triangle of balanced influencing factors, the first peak of which is formed by the sourcecarrier of the novelty of design solutions, the second is the source-carrier of fashion trends, and the third is created by the peculiarities of person characteristics, including its aesthetic guidelines and basic attitudes of the subconscious. Conclusions. It was shown that to solve the problems of fashion design in the face of design creativity ideology fluctuations and rapid changes in digital tools effectively, it is advisable to direct the design approach to balance the triangle of influencing factors. Harmonisation of the creative first primary source with the aesthetic guidelines of the individual’s subconscious is proposed as one of the effective ways of balancing. The use of the influence triangle balancing method by fashion designers in the design process makes it possible to manage the quality of modelling products by three indicators simultaneously — innovation, artistic and aesthetic level and compliance with fashion trends. Besides, the harmonisation of the model’s characteristics with the internal attitudes of the personality contributes to supporting the sustainable development of fashion design
