Objectives: This study was designed to determine and compare the effect of statins as lipid-lowering drugs on lipid profile levels (serum total cholesterol TC, triglyceride TG, high-density lipoprotein HDL, low-density lipoprotein LDL, very low-density lipoprotein VLDL) among three groups that including control group (CG), gallstone patients that did not use statin (GSP), and gallstone patients that did use statins (GSPUS).
