The results of the conducted researches of desert and hole-meadow vegetation during 2017 year have been presented. For desert and hole-meadow vegetation there were registered 2 types, 2 formations and 6 associations. For developing of cattle-breeding, especially livestock the rational use and improvement of village pastures have a great role. One of the objects was the territory of village pastures of Gasimbeyli of the Sabirabad region of Mil steppe. During the researches, 2 main plant formations and their productivity were determined. Due to the presence of saline soils and uneven terrain, for the rational use and improvement of these pastures it is advisable to carry out measures for their fundamental improvement
