Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy in an Effort to Attract International Tourists in the Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2019-2021 in the Province of Bali

Pandemi Covid-19 menimbulkan masalah di Provinsi Bali khususnya pada sektor pariwisata. Pembatasan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah membuat segala akses untuk melakukan kegiatan di tempat umum tidak dapat berjalan. Hal ini berdampak pada pariwisata Provinsi Bali yang mengandalkan kunjungan wisatawan terutama pada wisatawan mancanegara di mana sebagian besar pendapatan terkait pariwisata di dapat dari wisatawan mancanegara. Sebagai sebuah konsep pembangunan pariwisata, Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) memiliki peran penting melalui strategi yang membantu mengatasi masalah yang sedang dihadapi dalam rangka menarik wisatawan mancanegara ke Provinsi Bali. Selanjutnya penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif di mana melalui wawancara dengan Ibu Herawati selaku Sub Koordinator Standar dan Sertifikasi Usaha Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Bali. CHSE atau Cleanilness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability sebagai Strategi STD bersinggungan dengan konsep pembangunan lainnya hal ini kemudian mendukung pengembangan pariwisata di Provinsi Bali yang siap beradaptasi di era pandemi Covid-19 sehingga mempu menarik wisatawan mancanegara ketika regulasi pembatasan untuk pelaku perjalanan pariwisata internasional telah dibuka, selain itu dalam upaya menarik wisman pemerintah melaksanakan Work From Bali sebagai bentuk diplomasi publik untuk membangun kepercayaan publik terhadap pariwisata Provinsi Bali yang siap di era pandemi.The Pandemic of Covid-19 has created problems to the tourism sector in the Province of Bali. Restrictions imposed by the government make all access to carry out activities in public places unable to work. This has an impact on tourism in the Province of Bali which relies on tourist visits, especially foreign tourists where most of tourism-related income comes from foreign tourists. As a concept of tourism development, Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) has an important role through strategies that help overcome the problems being faced in order to attract foreign tourists to the Province of Bali. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods through interviews with Mrs. Herawati as the Sub-Coordinator of Business Standards and Certification of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office. CHSE or Cleanilness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability as the STD Strategy intersects with other development concepts, this then supports the development of tourism in the Province of Bali which is ready to adapt in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic so that it can attract foreign tourists when the regulatory restrictions for international tourism travellers have been opened, apart from that in an effort to attract foreign tourists the government is implementing Work From Bali as a form of public diplomacy to build public confidence in tourism in the Province of Bali which is ready in the pandemic era
