A series of mourning ceremonies took place following the death of Lincoln, which occurred over the course of three weeks at fourteen locations:Albany, Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Harrisburg, Indianapolis, Michigan City (Indiana), New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
