The Lincoln Presides Over the Civil War coins are a part of a larger fifty-coin set, The Lincoln Coins & Stamps 1909-1958. In this subset, five Lincoln Cents are displayed in a paper card mount. The dates include 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, and 1938. The subset also includes a July 7, 1942 commemorative stamp, which features a map of China and portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Sun Yat-sen, founder of the republic of China. The paper card mount\u27s recto also contains biographical information about the Civil War as well as a color illustration of Lincoln Presides Over the Civil War. The biographical information continues on the card\u27s verso along with excerpts from Lincoln\u27s speech to the One Hundred Sixty-fourth Ohio Regiment in Washington, D.C. on August 18, 1864.
