The importance of reading and literacy is presented as the central theme of this research, to understand the conception of the use of educational technology in the teaching-learning process and its importance in the dimensions of learning to read and write as a social practice. When interpreting the picture of the current reading society in Brazil, the school is the main developer of reading and writing practices, and it is necessary that it knows the students, their skills and difficulties, so that they can all develop in reading through technologies.
