This work was carried out to study impacts of phosphorus (P) water solubility in the animal. Phosphorus feeding conditions were extremes, because 70% of fed P were supplied by inorganic phosphates (monocalcium=soluble phosphate and dicalcium=insoluble phosphate). These are uncommon conditions in dairy goat nutrition where inorganic sources only represent a little quantity of total P. Dairy goats in lactation period was used as animal model.
