The Department of education of the State of São Paulo (Seduc - SP) launched, in 2008, the School Quality Program (PQE) with the objective of promoting the improvement of the quality and equity of education in more than 5,000 schools that make up the public school system of regular education and to measure this quality established by the Index (Idesp), a statistical indicator that measures the quality of education offered to these students and establishes goals to be achieved annually for each school and by 2030 for the entire public educational system, with the objective of fulfill what is legally established, that is, ensure the fundamental right that all students learn with quality.
