Teacher's pedagogic competence is a very important thing to have for a teacher because it leads to the ability of the teacher in drafting and implementing learning strategies that are in accordance with the competencies, characteristics and needs of students in learning. The phenomenon that I found in MTs Al-Marzuqin Simpang Tiga Pekanbaru academic supervision carried out by the Principal was good enough but the teacher's pedagogical competence was not entirely good such as the lack of communication between students and teachers in the classroom, lazy to use a variety of methods.
