The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employee work performance on promotion. This research was conducted at PT. Mandiri Direction Media located at Jl. Tuanku Tambusai No.17 Pekanbaru .. After the research data was collected, it was then analyzed descriptively and to find out the work performance of employees towards job promotion, quantitative analysis was used, namely using SPSS version 17. The number of population and a sample of 43 people who were employees of PT. Mandiri Direction Media. The sampling technique used by researchers is using a total sampling or census technique.
