Peran Lurah Dalam Membina LPMK Di Kelurahan Sekip Hilir Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This study aims to determine the role of the lurah in fostering LPMK in the Sekip downstream sub-district, Rengat sub-district, Indragiri upstream district (a case study in the downstream Sekip sub-district). Community institutions are to improve the ability of community institutions to be more independent and able to carry out each of their own activities in assisting the tasks or functions of the government in providing services, development and empowerment of the community. As a Village/Kelurahan community institution formed by the community or local government, also recognized and fostered by the government, the village/kelurahan community institution must have a working relationship with the Village/Kelurahan Head as part of a government institution. Fostering community institutions is an activity that must exist, the purpose of which is to guide community institutions in the village/kelurahan. This study uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the role of the Lurah in fostering LPMK in Sekip Hilir Village, Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency could be said to be quite good. The analysis that the author did found that the role of the Lurah of Sekip Hilir Subdistrict, Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency had carried out his duties properly, the Lurah of Sekip downstream, Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency had a very positive role, all implementation processes that would be carried out were monitored themselves and were directed directly by the Lurah. Sekip downstream village, all inputs given by the head of LPMK and the community were well received by the head of the Sekip downstream village.
