ABSTRACT The present work sought to discuss the use of management indicators in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) of the clothing trade in Seridó/RN and other regions that participated in the program for the development of innovation and productivity, the Brasil Mais. The results were obtained through diagnosis at in two different moments, via a questionnaire, a radar that expresses the company's maturity in 6 dimensions applied in 11 companies. In this context, exploratory observational research reinforces the relevance of using mechanisms to support business administration with a focus on strategic management to improve business results and sustainability.
