Non Contact Temperature Monitoring System to Optimize Health Working Environment Based on IoT

During the Covid-19 pandemic, body temperature is a serious concern for the community, measuring body temperature is the first step to find out the condition of human bodies. The objective of this research is design of the body temperature detection device, that designed in a descriptive way so that existing problems can be overcome, this research was made using the Arduino Uno R3 module and utilizing 2 sensors, namely an ultrasonic sensor to detect objects and a MLX90614 temperature sensor to detect body temperature, and buzzer system. Result of this design was to optimize working environment in garbage processing area in Mojokerto district. This considering the work environment is very risky because it is dirty and prone to Covid-19 germs. The SDLC (Build & Fix design) method was used in this research, to simulate the actual conditions in the Randegan - Mojokerto landfill. The Internet of Thing (IoT) devices are able to send information and perform follow-up over the network with minimal human intervention, so they are able to perform various functions automatically. The IoT is used to observe field situations from the distric main office, at remote location. The implications of using this IoT design are increasing performance and protecting the health of workers in sorting waste, as well as creating healthier and more productive working conditions
