PURPOSE: We report a case of congenital toxoplasmosis associated with retinal detachment. METHODS: A 9-month-old white boy presented a unilateral tractional retina detachment associated with congenital toxoplasmosis retinochoroiditis. RESULTS: The diagnosis is supported by positive IgG (\u3e400) for toxoplasmosis and intracranial calcification on magnetic resonance imaging, along with positive family history of Toxoplasma infection in the mother. CONCLUSION: Tractional retinal detachment is an infrequent and unconventional presentation of congenital Toxoplasma infection.
