This guidebook was created for the purpose of assisting administrators and teachers who are responsible for organizing, administering and teaching driver education. Iowa law provides that all students enrolled in a public, parochial, or private high school, or out-of-school youth between the ages of fifteen (15) years and twenty-one (21) years and who reside in the district shall have a driver education course offered or made available to them by the Public School District
