Talk of One Nation Conservatism may bring out the sceptic in me but I nevertheless try hard to avoid cynicism. In truth, it’s not that much of a struggle. After all, if Oscar Wilde was correct in arguing that a cynic is “A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing” then I am no cynic.
