Solid tumor metastases cause most deaths. Prevention of their occurrence misses suitable anti-metastases medication. Migrastatics is the answer based on the link between the in vivo metastatic activity and the in vitro enhanced migration of cancer cells. Therefore, we decided to develop a rapid test for qualifying the expected migrastatic potential of some medicines suitable for repurposing. The chosen holographic microscope Q-PHASE provides reliable multifield time-lapse recording and simultaneous analysis of the cell morphology, migration, and growth. The results of the methodology of primary assessment of the migrastatic potential exerted by the selected medicines on preferred cancer cell lines are presented
