This paper delves into how the economic disparity of the Great Depression had an intense and lasting effect on fashion trends. It highlights how human creativity is apparent and adaptable through clothing and how fashion is a priority for many people despite their socio-economic status. This paper also highlights how history may be told through clothing and trends. Little has been documented when it comes to sack-flour dresses nor has much been said of well-known 30s style dresses and how they came to be.
