Add to ORKGHistory: Queen Victoria Hospital was built in 1912 to replace an older cottage hospital. Local contractor O.W. Abrahamson constructed it at a cost of ,000. It was located where the Alpine Village Mall is now(as of November 2020), fronting on First Street. The building was torn down in the early 1970s. Some of the bricks from the hospital were used to construct the posts in the back end of the Heritage Garden at Revelstoke Museum & Archives
