Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most prevalent mental disorders in treatment and recovery centers (van de Glind et al., 2014). Thus, this suggests comorbidity between ADHD and substance use disorder (SUD). As a result, we believe that early treatment of ADHD could help prevent future SUD.
