The Yazidis are a religious minority from northern Iraq who has been suffering persecution from ISIL since 2014. Lincoln has been the epicenter of Yazidi refugees in America, as it has become home to 3,000 Yazidis. The Lincoln Yazidi Resource is a website that provides cultural context and connections to the community. It includes a timeline of the Lincoln Yazidi community\u27s growth, cultural information and links to resources. Through this professional project I aim to enable local media outlets to provide more humanizing stories about local refugee populations and more robust coverage of local refugee-related issues
