The wind and tidal turbines are generally made of several materials. The multi-material assembly in marine environment arouse a lot of scientific issues. The water ageing of bonded assemblies increases the risk of failure at the interface between the bonded joint and the substrate (adhesive fracture). Only the fracture in the joint core (cohesive fracture) is taken into account by standards. The aim of this work is the addition of the adhesive failure in adhesively bonded joint design rules.
