International audienceThe thematic correspondences between the ancient paintings of the Tassili-n-Ajjer, the Aramat, the Akukas, the Tibesti, the Ennedi, the Gilf Kébir, the Jebel Uweynat and its small satellite massifs, due to their large number and wide range, plead in favour from near to far of a transmission of concepts of humanoid essence, to which were receptive groups with distinct identities who had comparable technical knowledge, and who evolved in wooded savannah landscapes with permanent water bodies.
