This thesis aims to address the Iron Age glassmaking through a socio-economic perspective. To do so, a multidisciplinary method has been established, combining archaeological data with archaeometry and technological approaches developed with modern glassmakers. It allows us to reconstruct, step by step, the commodity chain of this craft, only dedicated to jewellery productions, from the raw glass production, its transformation into items of adornments but also its distribution and its consumption processes by La Tène societies.The analysis on La Tène Glass characterization (done by LA-ICP-MS), including more than seven hundred glass objects, permitted to distinguish sands from different origins used to make the imported natron base glass.
