This paper presents analytical thermal models of 7 different rotors with permanent magnets, which are used as sub-models in universal thermal management software, which is currently being developed at our university. Whole software is created as script in MATLAB interface and is based on equivalent thermal network. For each of the rotor topology is created thermal circuit, which can accurately calculate temperature distribution, and fits into software algorithm. All analytical models are verified by numerical finite element analysis
