A Visual Essay that uses the painting of the late visionary Peruvian and Shaman painter Pablo Amaringo, published in the Collection "Ayahuasca Visions", and the world renowned novel by the late Peruvian essayist and poet Cesar Calmo, "Las Tres mitades de Ino Moxo" (The three halves of Ino Moxo), to discuss a novel and so far understated way into knowledge via plants. These are plants that Indigenous peoples of the Amazon call "sacred plants". I propose that they are epistemological systems in their own right, “ways of knowing” that provide pathways to a deeper understanding of “reality”
