: This study aimed to develop a new approach to manage people living with HIV (PLWH), investigating preferences of clinicians and PLWH in order to improve linkage to care of PLWH. A survey was performed with the Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE) method to investigate the preferences of two categories, clinicians and PLWH, for attributes of HIV care pathways, therapy and quality of life. Our results suggest that the most important feature of a care pathway was the site of testing for both categories, followed by modality of counselling for clinicians and by pre-exposure prophylaxis for PLWH.
