The use of Virtual Reality (VR) in special education represents a growing field of studies, especially for people with ASD. The sense of optimism, which encourages the experiments about ICT for Autism, is driven by some positive outcomes resulted by VR applications to learning and education for all. The paper presents a literature review about experimental studies relating to VR applied to ASD people, for considering potentialities and opportunities in this field of studies. The study is focus on effects of interaction between human and VR systems, and particularly on human factors issues in the use of immersive technology for autism
