Introduction : The mid-portion Achilles tendinopathy is a degenerative disease of the Achilles tendon caused by a hyper solicitation of the latter and very often leads to pain. This condition affects a diverse population, both sportsmen and women, and its frequency has economic and social consequences. The eccentric reinforcement protocol is widely used in clinical practice but the results are still too uncertain.
