Patients with schizophrenia (SZ) are at high risk for cardiovascular morbidity and increased mortality,particularly due to reduced cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and sedentary lifestyle. Although antipsychoticscan reduce positive symptoms, their effectiveness for negative symptoms remains limited and are oftenassociated with cardiometabolic side effects.
