The thesis focuses on creating hexahedral meshes from skeletons in order to produce simulation supports from medical data. There are few automatic generalist methods for generating these meshes, which are useful for numerical simulation of physical phenomena. The type of data that interests the authors, such as bronchi or vascular networks, requires automatic generation without user intervention. The thesis describes a method based on building a quadrilateral scaffold to manage the geometry and connectivity of simple construction elements.
